Quote: You tell me not to worry about tomorrow
But I worry anyway
Jason Upton

Can you take one minute to stop and pray this week? I will be traveling to Eldoret which is about an hour and a half from Kitale, to speak and minister to a very special group of women on Saturday, and then again to the entire congregation on Resurrection Sunday. I am excited about this opportunity to share God’s Word, and minister salvation, deliverance and healing!
I’ll be sharing a post next week afterwards to let you know how these meetings went, but until then if you could specifically take a minute a day, to just lift me up before the LORD, I would so appreciate it!
Below is a short update on the 8th graders who recently finished their studies at Challenge Farm. They are still awaiting their test results.

It was a great party held to honor the 8th grade residents and candidates who are part of the Light & Power Center at the Challenge Farm in Kitale, Kenya. Most of these children came when they were very young. You can click on the photo above or you can click on here to see the joy on their faces.
Like most tweens and some teens they have questions about what the future holds for them? I thank God most of them have made a decision to follow Jesus. They understand their life on this earth is temporary and many of them know better than I, the phrase, ““Nitakuona kesho, Mungu akipenda” which translated from Swahili means, “I’ll see you tomorrow, God willing.”
Even though worry and fear tries to envelope them at times, the ones who truly know Jesus understand hardships come even to Christians but they know where they will spend eternity. Life in a first, second or third world country holds no guarantees for any of us.
After they receive their exam grades they will have a couple of months before beginning a boarding, day school or perhaps another education option.
Your thoughts and prayers for these and all the children at Challenge Farm are appreciated.
If you pray don’t worry, if you worry then don’t bother praying!

God is sovereign and is able to see them through the most difficult of circumstances.

You are wisdom but you ask questions
Thank you God for never telling me a lieYour decisions are mostly hidden
The stage you stand upon is not for human eyes
You tell me not to worry about tomorrow
But I worry anyway
You tell me you’ll take care of all my troubles
Jesus, teach me how to waitYou are future but you are present
Thank you God for never running from your pastYou’re committed to your creation
For everything you’ve made your love forever lastsYou tell me not to worry about tomorrow but I worry anyway
You tell me you’ll take care of all my troubles
Jesus, teach me how to waitWhen the time comes, I will see forever

When the time comes, It’ll be all right
When the time comes, I will be the one asking why
Pictures from around the farm….
Then all your people will be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous;
They will possess the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.
“The smallest one will become a thousand (a clan),
And the least one a mighty nation.
I, the Lord, will quicken it in its [appointed] time.”
Isaiah 6:20-21 AMP
I want to thank you all who have been praying for me, especially during this rainy season. This is when I seem to really be affected in my immune system and sinus’s. And of course keeping a strong immune system is so very important! Please keep Challenge Farm and Maverick and Amy, Jonah, Hudson and Ava in your prayers as well!
I continue to pray for each one of you and your families as well. I know many are suffering difficult times and circumstances. I also welcome any prayer requests or words of wisdom from you. You are truly appreciated, loved and one of God’s treasures.
BLESSED IS OUR LORD MOST HIGH!

Marlene, I just prayed for you and your family to be protected physically, emotionally, relationally, and that God will use you and your family to be a picture of God’s love to the people there. Jerry has also been suffering with sinuses and can definitely relate. He sneezes like a bear and can scare you to death. I know the women you minister to are abundantly blessed by your words and actions. Love and miss you, Denise
