A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.”

Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

Are You a Pioneer?

Pioneers leave to pursue a called destination, not knowing the way,
the outcome, the dangers, the perils, the losses.

Pioneers love:

The beautiful new discoveries, the waterfalls, the valleys,
the rainbows and rivers,
the lightning, thunder, the sunrise and sunsets.

Pioneers are:

Not afraid to circle the wagons,
defend their families,
to pray and trust God to lead by His Spirit.,
to set boundaries and do what is right before Him.

Pioneers continue:

to love and overcome the hurt from those who wound and betray them.

Pioneers say; 

It’s ok to disagree.

It’s ok to leave.

It’s ok to say this isn’t working.

It’s ok to forgive and give in or give up.

It’s ok to look for greener pastures if the ones you are in are brown and discarded.

It’s ok to throw in the towel.

It’s ok to say you can have it your way but I’m going mine because I’m a pioneer.

It’s ok to love and lose, because I’m going to love you anyway.

Friends are friends until they aren’t.

Pioneers know:

Selfishness only isolates and generosity brings abundance.

Lying creates a version of your reality.
A life of lies separates a person from what is right, moral and true.

A pioneer: 

Hears the wind,
sees the stars,
plants by the moon, 
enjoys the company of others, 
comforts those in pain,
walks in the rain,
is accountable to others sharing in their journey.

Pioneers are there in the beginning and end…

releasing the mother’s to grab the newborns hand.
to hold the hand of the elderly, sick or dying.
to see the fold’s birth from mother and trying to stand.
looking for homesteads, food , water and land.

Pioneers: 

Move on on despite injustice and are loyal to their cause.
Don’t give in or up when things get hard or difficult.
Aren’t afraid to go their own way
if someone opposes their purpose,
after all they are pioneers.

Pioneers realize:

There will be pain, sickness & loss,
missed opportunities and rivers to cross.
They will have enemies who simply
want their scalp for financial gain,
and seasons of draught and too much rain.

PIONEERS DON’T KNOW:

IF THEY WILL MAKE IT TO THEIR
DESTINATIONS HERE ON EARTH.

BUT GOD KNOWS.

A voice says, “Call out.” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.
