Ain’t No Rock Gonna Cry Out for Me!

Over 30 years ago, on Palm Sunday, I was standing in praise and worship and the person standing beside me was getting very uncomfortable. At one point he raised their hands (something he never would have done in church). At one point, I almost thought he was making fun of the people who were raising their hands and singing out loudly. He spoke three words to me, “Marlene, it is time,” then my knees buckled and I hit the ground in a repentance prayer. Deliverance came from many things I’m not proud nor ashamed to share with others.
