Beauty is Skin Deep But Ugly Will Certainly Destroy the Soul

My photo got all AI’d Up for Mother’s Day!

The world can make us beautiful on the outside (just like artificial intelligence did my image here).

But the UGLY truth is my heart can be so very wicked. It can be full of pride, lust, regret, fear, pain, and resentment, all of which are not pretty.

But God’s Truth is that He knew me before I was formed in my mother’s womb and He wants to draw me closer to Him.

Only He can make me beautiful on the inside so that He is reflected on the outside!

I am thankful to My Heavenly Father, who sent Jesus to make an eternal life with Him possible.

I have the Holy Spirit leading and guiding me, and He  has never ever left me, hurt me, lied to me or made me feel unwanted.

In fact, I have had to learn to “let” Jesus love me by letting go of my own understanding about a lot!

His will is always the better way… no matter how I may think otherwise.

God sees my ugly inner parts, and He still loves me. Why?

JESUS took my sin and removed it forever. I became His disciple.

His deep love will cleanse, cover, and continue to prune the broken parts of me, so I can bear His fruit.

I love what Jesus says in John Chapter 15 to His disciples about husbandry:

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (Without Him our spirit can not ever thrive and grow.)

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.  This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

(The Lord wants His Holy Spirit in us to reflect, reveal and revive the lost, hurting and broken by loving and being a true friend. But first we must “let” the Lord love, then lead us.) JESUS loved us first….while we were still ugly and sinful.

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.

Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.

Are there areas where you feel God is cutting away? If so, He is faithful to bring forth fruit from that area so that His love will be magnified.

You Are One of God’s Treasures!
