The call of God can never be stated explicitly; it is implicit. The call of God is like the call of the sea, no one hears it but the one who has the nature of the sea in him. It cannot be stated definitely what the call of God is to, because His call is to be in comradeship with Himself for His own purposes, and the test is to believe that God knows what He is after. The things that happen do not happen by chance; they happen entirely in the decree of God. God is working out His purposes. Oswald Chambers
Hopefully, we have arrived safely in Kitale, Kenya. I am with my son Maverick, his wife Amy, and my grandchildren Jonah (4), Hudson (3), and Ava (6 mos.).Maverick and Amy will be working alongside Missionary Cheri Thompson, who founded Challenge Farm, a children’s home, school, and church where children are being taught about Jesus and how to become more like Him. Visit www.ChallengeFarm.org or YouTube https://youtu.be/Vs1FLK6xYbM to watch a great video.
Please pray for us, the staff, the children and please know I am praying for you as well. There are many people who continue to experience, difficulties, hardships and even persecution during this time. Philippians encourages us that the Lord is near, and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus, if we will seek Him. The world is watching us.
When Jesus was arrested, there was a mob who came with the officers. Jesus didn’t resist, in fact He told His disciples to stand down. Peter, one of the bravest of His disciples followed the crowd back. When he was recognized three times as one of Jesus’ disciples, He denied knowing Jesus each time. After the third time a cock crowed (indicating the morning). The LORD turned and looked straight at Peter…. And he (Peter) went outside and wept bitterly. Luke 22:61a…62
Peter had just told Jesus at dinner that he would never deny Him, but Jesus knew and had told Peter before the cock would crow, He would in fact deny Him not only once, but three times. Peter had to learn a bitter lesson about himself. When Jesus rose from the dead He sought out Peter to mend their relationship.
Even when our futures are uncertain, and we don’t know where we are going, how long we will be there, we can rest assured, Jesus will always have his eyes on us, be our fortress, and Mighty Strong Tower. Thank you for your love and prayers. Please stay in touch and let me know of any prayer requests you may have.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In every prayer for all of you, I always pray with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
