Tobias feels God calling him to begin a new work there and I am praying about what Cinderella Released Ministries can do to be part in helping with this new work. As he shared I felt my heart quicken. So, we are praying for God to do a mighty work there. Please join me in prayer for the area of Kabichbich. Over 30 years ago, on Palm Sunday, I was standing in praise and worship and the person standing beside me was getting very uncomfortable. At one point he raised their hands (something he never would have done in church). At one point, I almost thought he was making fun of the people who were raising their hands and singing out loudly. Because of his increased edginess he was unable to sit down or stand still. I had seen this edginess before, and usually he would just go out of the service. But this time, just before the close of the last song, he hurriedly pushed me aside and told me to let him out. I thought he was getting ill or leaving. Instead of heading for the back door, he walked fast nearly running to the front of the church. He grabbed one of the men in the front row and asked for prayer.
“One reason why the cycle of archetypes recurs is that each youth generation tries to correct or compensate for what it perceives as the excesses of the midlife generation in power. For example, Boomers (a Prophet generation, whose strength is individualism, culture and values) raised Millennial children (a Hero generation, whose strength is in collective civic action). Archetypes do not create archetypes like themselves, they create opposing archetypes. Your generation isn’t like the generation that shaped you, but it has much in common with the generation that shaped the generation that shaped you.” ― William Strauss
