This past weekend I shared at the SE Regional Winter Conference for Global Alliance Networks, in Birmingham, Alabama. The name of my talk was Walking Together in the Spirit.

We left at 7:00 a.m. Friday, from Pensacola to drive to Birmingham, Alabama (a group of us rode together in Charity Chapel’s ministry van). On the way Pastor Michael Collins and I tape recorded Don Loose, one of Globe International’s first missionaries. His parents were missionaries with the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination in Central Africa for many years.
We had a wonderful trip hearing Don’s story of growing up on the mission field. He also shared stories and the testimony about meeting his beloved wife Millie at college. Millie has gone on to be with the Lord. It was delightful! I’ll be sharing more on my blog later.

Once we arrived we ate lunch and we went to a “Legends” talk where Don, Bill Stamp and George Waller were interviewed and honored speakers.

GAN (Global Alliance Networks) is an awesome group of men and women, ministers, pastors, ministry leaders, & missionaries who come together twice a year to receive awesome wisdom, insight and spiritual refreshing! After lunch, and the “Legends” interview we checked into our hotel and then went to dinner before the evening time of worship and a word from the Lord through David Kerr, Global Alliance Network’s president.
I believe this was a timely message to share with those who attended my session and I am so very humbled to be asked to share with fellow ministers, some who have been walking with the Lord for many years.

On Saturday, morning we had a couple of coffee talks and I was blessed to be able to share on Walking Together in The Spirit. I know the Lord touched hearts and was blessed to be able to share God’s word and I handed out some gifts I made with rocks from Alaska, shells and sand from Palm Coast, Florida. The gifts were a reminder to always put God first in our life, and we will always have time for the other things that are pressing.
My good friend and co-minister Beverly Lemoine, founder of Come as You Are Ministry was there along with her son Wyatt and we were able to laugh and remember our time together holding the International Freedom PowWow’s in Tanzania Africa last May, hosted by Denise and Glen Ellerbe, Missionaries with Abide International Ministries. Host Your Own PowWow in the U.S. or Internationally.
You are one of God’s Treasures,

Marlene
