Woman in the Mirror

Willodean

“Who do you believe you are?”

She was asked this question recently and the answers varied from last week.

“I’m a mother, grandmother who is alone, sad, tired, fat, homeless and disillusioned.”

“Why do you believe that?”

“Why? Because that is what I think others see. Therefore, I believe that is who I am.”

“Why do you allow what you “think” others “assume or see” to be the truth?”

“Because that is what we do isn’t it? We believe what we assume to be true.?”

“Does this make it true?”

“I don’t know, I guess it is what you choose to believe.”

“Who does God say you are? He is the one that brought you here.”

“Sometimes I don’t hear God.”

“Why is that?”

“Because I don’t listen to Him. I don’t make time for Him.  I would rather choose to listen to what I think others think.”

“Isn’t that destructive?”

“Of course it is destructive. And that is what makes me think I am alone, tired, worn, homeless and disillusioned. It is absolutely stupid to look into the mirror and talk to myself like this!”

You should be saying what your Abba Father says about you.

He calls you, “His Cinderella Released, His Mighty Girl, His Woman on a Mission!”

You are full of His grace, glory and gumption!

He says, “You are  totally healed, delivered, set free and are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above anything you could ever hope for or imagine.”

He also says, “His plans for you are for good and not for evil and that He has a seat for you in heavenly places with Him.”

He is preparing a place for you to come for eternity and He has never ever lied to you or told you anything that has not occurred or come to pass.  He says, “You are beautiful and whatever and whoever you are is good enough for Him and that He will never ever leave or forsake you.”

He also says,

“Darling daughter please just come spend time with me.  Don’t talk down about yourself or others.  Don’t waste time, that is going to just take you down and destroy you.  It is time to arise and be about my business.  You just need to love others.  Forget about what they do.”

Others are doing what you do; spending too much time in the mirror.  You will never see yourself as God sees you.

He is sitting right there beside you and will listen to you whenever you want Him to listen.  Jesus is always praying for you.

He hears your prayers when you pray in faith, believing in what you do not see!  Stop looking in the mirror and look for Him. He is here, right beside you.  He’s not in the mirror… He’s at your side looking at you.

He says, Turn to Me, look at Me my darling daughter, look at Me, look to Me, rest in Me My darling daughter rest.  I am here and will carry you, get dressed!

Don’t be the Woman in the Mirror… Be the Woman You Were Created to Be By Me!

Yes, I think I will… get dressed!
