Are You Ready for a Double Portion of Fire?
When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “What can I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha answered, “May I receive a double portion of the prophetic spirit that energizes you.” Elijah replied, “That’s a difficult request!
If you see me taken from you, may it be so, but if you don’t, it will not happen.” As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a fiery chariot pulled by fiery horses appeared. They went between Elijah and Elisha, and Elijah went up to heaven in a windstorm. While Elisha was watching, he was crying out, “My father, my father! The chariot and horsemen of Israel!” Then he could no longer see him. He grabbed his clothes and tore them in two.
He picked up Elijah’s cloak, which had fallen off him, and went back and stood on the shore of the Jordan. He took the cloak that had fallen off Elijah, hit the water with it, and said,
“Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” When he hit the water, it divided and Elisha crossed over. 2 Kings 2:9-14
Set a fire down in my soul that I can’t contain, that I can’t control

He was consumed by the Lord’s love, His all consuming fire… Matthew 10:22-24 says,
“And everyone will hate you because of your allegience to me. But those who endure to the end shall be saved. When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next., I assure you that I, the Son of Man, will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel.The fiery Elijah confronted and exposed idolatry, helping to change the atmosphere where people could freely ad publicly worship God. Elisha then moved in to demonstrate God’s powerful yet caring nature to all those who came to him for help.”

There is a great fire coming, coming from the LORD. It will be as the fiery chariots that came down from heaven and scooped up Elijah. It will leave a remnant of passion and glory needed to equip those who are walking in the last days – those who are willing to pick up this mantel, those who are willing to bear my name in the heat of the battle that is coming upon the earth.This is a battle against the host of hell. My Fire is a refining fire, a purifying fire and I will use those who can bear the fire when it gets hot. These will be those who worship me in spirit and in truth. These will be those who are willing to lay down their idols, lay down their own agendas, lay down their technology for the day is coming when you will not be able to communicate with each other in this manner.
You must be a people of trust, people of honor, silent before me in the storm, so you can hear my voice in the midst of the rumblings and grumblings coming upon the earth.
You must be willing to lay down your earthly keys in order to pick up your heavenly keys.These are the keys to the Kingdom.
