Please join me today to pray for those sharing the good news of Jesus in places where their lives and livelihoods are in danger if you are a Christian.
We are so blessed to be able to post Christian articles, pictures, quotes, read the Bible in coffee shops, libraries, share our faith and pray openly over our food, families, friends and if allowed over complete strangers!
Still living in our world, even with technology so prevelant there are many who can’t even talk out loud, carry on conversations using the name of Christ, Jesus, prayer, Bible, etc. without being afraid of being extradited, persecuted, ex-communicated and in some places even killed.
It is hard to believe but it is true.
There are many who are on the field, sharing the hope of Jesus, who can’t say what they are doing, where they are going, or who they are minstering to due to the dangers involved to themselves, their familes and those they are serving.
Those that are on the field often feel and isolated and alone. We know the Lord is with them, and showering them with His love and protection, but God has called us to pray for those we deem “the persecuted church”. This includes, missionaries, ministers, evangelists, teachers, business men and women and all who when and if the time ever came, if asked to deny Christ would have to say,
“No, as for me and my house we serve the Lord God Jehovah, the one true God.”
Imagine putting your children to bed, wanting to pray over them, but having to be very careful that “listening ears and watching eyes” don’t turn you in to authorities that could have you immediately cast out of the country, and/or put those around you in jeopardy of imprisionment or loss of privileges, jobs, and even your very life.
I know personally many times I take the religious freedom and liberties that I enjoy too lightly.
Please pray with me today for those who are called to go, especially their children, and their friends and families who are back home.
Imagine those on the field who are looking at the posts on social media, things happening in their churches and friends back home. Their love of friends, family and country does not go away when they leave for the foreign field.
In cases where they are in a sensitive culture where persecution is prevelant, they are unable to respond openly to posts and comment for fear of bringing attention to themselves. Technology and transportation have connected our worlds, and missionaries certainly have many advantages than years passed; still nothing can replace the lost holidays, etc. with families and friends, but God can and does give them grace and the a ability to pursue their call.
So today, please pray with me for someone you know or ask God to touch someone living or working in the “Persecuted Church”.
There is power of prayer, a note of encouragement that wouldn’t risk or jeopardize their situation. When you hear or read about the “persecuted church” someone has to be the one to actually go and then report this information. It is usually someone in the trenches. Just a simple “hello” I’m “thinking” about and for you is a great encouragement. If you need someone to write to just let me know!
Crisis and trauma care includes unsaved soul. Perhaps this is the greatest kind of crisis and trauma care there is on the planet!
For more information on countries where Christians are persecuted read this great article from by Randy Alcorn on Eternal Perspective Ministries.

I have many partners who are helping me help equip and train others for the harvest that is coming, in our lifetime and beyond. Hoping you will consider joining me by becoming a prayer for financial partner, or mentee!
